Back on the Lakers to bounce back tonight. I know what your thinking. Yes they are on B2B, Yes they are in the middle of a long road trip, yes they got beat last night by the Magic yes they have been some what of a bogey side of mine. But check out some recent trends. LA are 10-1 on B2B games this season! And more often than not respond well after a loss. The Lakers are still ranked 1st in first half performance's. The Bobcats are in a bit of a slump. Winning 3 of last 9. And have started games terribly. Winning only 1 of their last 6 first halves. Their last 3 games they avg -12.7. Not exactly the sort of form you want to take into a game against the defending champs. Late mail is the Kobe may miss.... But to counter that Diaw will not start and may have minutes reduced and Augustin has been all but ruled out with a sprained wrist by his coach. Missing their point will take the Bobcats time to adjust. Also Diaw is a big body they need on the court to help out against LA's big 3! The Lakers Big men were embarrassed last start, look for Gasol, Bynum, Odom to dominate! Even if Kobe doesn't suit up, LA still have too much talent and class in this one. Lead comfortably at the main break.
