ATS - EELS -4.5 (x1)

Parramatta were super impressive last week knocking off the Warriors in NZ last week and Penrith quite simply were not. Losing 42-8 against the Knights. I was particulary impressed with Parramattas no frills approach, getting to their kick, protecting the ball and a solid defense. All strong attributes obviously brought across by new Head coach Kearny. They have an number of up and coming stars in Morgan, Allgood and Mortimer who seems to have shaken of those 2nd year blues. Adding to that the experience of Hindy, Birt and Moi Moi it looks a perfect balance. Not to mention their Star fullback Jarryd Hayne who also appears like the weight of expectation has been lifted and he is playing a more structured game. This Eels team has all the right ingredients to once again figure in September. Playing in front of their home crowd for the first time this year against a side with zero form and they beat a few weeks back in the trials easily, the Eels will be full of confidence and will take advantage of this Penrith side that looks a bit lost.
