While the Crows played some of their best Footy for 3 quarters against the Magpies. Then an avalanche of goals in the last crushed the crows! How will that affect this group who have stuggled for much of the year. Their confidence would be shot! The Lions quite the opposite, getting that first win and have Brown inside the forward 50 will give the young Lions enormous confidence! While the Crows should win at home, I don't think they will have it their own way. lions to give them a scare and keep this one close.

2nd up I like the Bulldogs to respond from one of the worst performances in the clubs history! They were pathetic in the second half last week against the Eagles. They have recalled Lake, Hall and have give Gilbee a reprieve whic is a positive move. Lake and Hall in particular will give them structure and take a little pressure off the younger players who have been trying to fill those rolls. Lake is an interesting one, he has been seriously out of form but insisted he be played today. Given he has a terrific record on Buddy this could prove a master stoke! If anything it may play on the mind of the Hawthorn champ. While I'm not sure the dogs can get the points I expect a huge lift in effort here today! Take the Dogs and the points.
