This match was viewed as a grand final preview just a few weeks ago. But now the Dragons have dropped their past 4 matches! Incredible! They are letting in easy points and their players look tired or injured, with Gas missing and doubts over Morris and Soward. Melbourne have suffered a blow with key play maker Cronk missing, but I like the emergence of Widdop and Blair. Widow in particular proved in a match during the Origin series that he is more than capable of leading this team around the park.
The Storm at home will prove to good and hand the Dragons their fifth straight defeat. Billy Slater playing his 200th match will enjoy this one @ AMMI Park! Storm by 8.

Big match this one for both clubs. Top 4 spot u for grabs you would think. I like the Hawks to continue on their winning way. They have beaten the blues the past 7 times they have met. Hawthorn are unchanged for this one while the Blues welcome back Jameson to help curb Buddy's influence. Tough ask for a man who has played little Footy over the past 8 weeks I would have thought. Both teams are on a six day turnaround but the Hawks had the luxury of playing Port in Melbourne whist the Blues are coming back from Perth.
With that in mind it's Hawthorn who will have the fresher legs and run this one out a little better. Hawks by 3 goals.

I have stated prevously Richmonds poor record in starting games having won just 3 first quarters this year. They have been questioned as a club and must make a stand! While I still feel the Blues will be to strong I just think this group of players must throw everything they have today! While some of the players dropped has surprised me, they had to make a stand.I do like the inclusions. Scully and Davey are their prime movers and Bartram and MacDonald won't take a backward step. I have grabbed extra points here but feel this game should be around the 4-5 goal mark if Melbourne turn up!

The Saints are on the march! they are on a 5 game winning streak and receive their skipper back for tonight's clash with the injury depleted Dockers @ Etihad! The Saints have won their past 7 encounters against the Dockers and having beaten them already this season by 46 points over in the West. Its fair to say they will be full of confidence in taking care of the Dockers in Melbourne!
Fremantle is still chasing that elusive win in Melbourne but they just cannot get their cattle on the track! Still missing a handful of key players headed by Sandilands and Mundy the Dockers just do not have the personnel to contain the ramped Saints under the roof here.
