Loving the way the Suns have been playing lately! Run and gun offense is really paying off. Nash is proving to smart and is creating so many open looks for his scorers in Carter, Frye and Hill. The acquisition of Brooks will do wonders for their second unit when Nash takes a breather. The Pacers are just not that good IMO. They can show flashes of brilliance but are way to unreliable. If Granger has a night out they win if not they struggle. Not sure he can keep up this high tempo Suns outfit. Carter stated their aim last start against Toronto was to put them away early and they certainly did, leading by 20 after the 1st! I see no reason why they won't go into this clash with the same game plan. Suns to have to many points on the board early in this one!

Liking the Bulls in this spot tonight against Milwalkee. Chicago is coming off a monster effort in beating Miami @ home last start. They are finally healthy and have all their pieces out on the floor at the same time. Noah is back in the starting line up, he is a machine on the glass and is putting up huge defensive efforts against opposition big men. He and Boozer make a great team in the backcourt. Bogut has been struggling offensively lately and will be in for a tough night here. Rose is one of the games best and will have to much class for Jennings, while Deng is slipping under the radar and quietly puting up 15-20 point games. Milwalkee really struggle offensively and it won't get any easier tonight. Chicago only give up 92.opts per game. The Bucks to are great defensively but I think Chicago has enough weapons to post a winning score. While Chicago has been solid @ home, they haven't been as dominate on the road. However this is their first game of a long 6 game trip, they will want to get off to a good start and coming off such a high against Miami, the Bulls will carry that form and confidence into tonights match. I'm on the Lakers to start well here tonight. I was really impressed with their performance and energy last night and I think that form will carryover to start this one against the Blazers in Portland. LA were able to give their starters plenty of rest in their demolition of Altlanta last night. I don't think this team took to kindly to comments made prior to the all star weekend about their form. But it was deserved as they dropped 3 in a row and lost to Cleveand! The break came at the perfect time. Kobe reminded us all in the All Star game he is not slowing down. Not sure who gets that job tonight? While the Blazers may get their star guard Roy back, expect him to be eased into the contest and be a litte rusty after two months off. This is Portlands first game after the break so I expect it may take a quarter or half to get into rhythm. They still have plenty of injury woes, Camby the most significant here against the big 3 of LA. I think that may be the difference. Kobe may hit a bucket or two also..... Lakers to catch Portland off guard and lead at the half.

Not to mention the return of Beaubois. Stojakovic has now found his rhythm and has added that other option on offense they had been missing since Butler went down. LA are 10-1 on B2B games this season! And more often than not respond well after a loss. The Lakers are still ranked 1st in first half performance's. The Bobcats are in a bit of a slump. Winning 3 of last 9. And have started games terribly. Winning only 1 of their last 6 first halves. Their last 3 games they avg -12.7. But to counter that Diaw will not start and may have minutes reduced and Augustin has been all but ruled out with a sprained wrist by his coach. Well almost..... It is nice to watch the Footy again even if it is the NAB cup. I won't be betting on this as is way to difficult to pick as teams are trying new players in new spots etc. Is fun to watch and enjoy. The league also, enjoyed the match between the two All stars squads last night and tonight its the shield. Once Again no punting this early for me. Will be rolling come round one for both codes! But for now I will continue to focus on the NBA which is heading to playoffs quickly.
If I was to rank my three favorite punting sports in order of confidence I would have to say AFL 1st! Absolutely love the game and have been punting on it the longest with success. Next would be the NBA, closely followed by the NRL. Only reason I have the NBA before the NRL is simply because I have had more success financially in the NBA Season compared to the NRL one. Knowledge is equal in both though.

Well almost..... It is nice to watch the Footy again even if it is the NAB cup. I won't be betting on this as is way to difficult to pick as teams are trying new players in new spots etc. Is fun to watch and enjoy. The league also, enjoyed the match between the two All stars squads last night and tonight its the shield. Once Again no punting this early for me. Will be rolling come round one for both codes! But for now I will continue to focus on the NBA which is heading to playoffs quickly.

The Thunder have been playing some pretty good ball recently, they let one slip last start to Memphis @ home in OT which they won't be happy about. Oklahoma do bounce back off an unexpected loss well! The Kings are on a 0-4 SU run @ home, though they have been competitive in most, they still struggle to put a full 4 quarter effort in. Their last start wasn't great but Miami were in a zone, so I'm forgetting that one. The first game of the trip they let slip through their fingers losing by 1 @ Atlanta. LA will win on the road sooner rather than later. I see Orlando's loss of Bass playing a big part in this one early. While Horward will more than hold his own in the paint, I see both Griffin and Jordan double teaming and Davis will have the smarts to pick whoever Dwight is not covering. On Miami to continue it's hot form in the 1st half of tonights game @ Charlotte. Miami and LeBron in particular were unstoppable last night @ Orlando. The King poored on 51! I think it safe to say the big three are back and healthy! They travel to Charlotte tonight on B2B road games which is not ideal, but I feel they carry their hot form over at least for the start of this one. The Bobcats meanwhile have returned from a Grueling 6 game road trip where they faired quite well 4-2 SU. Normally teams take a half or game to get back in rhythm after a lengthy stretch on the road, especially one like the Bobcats have just endured. Heat has to much talent and get out to a nice lead early here tonight!

I'm on LA here tonight to start games as they have pretty much all year, on fire! The Lakers are still by far the best opening quarter team this season, with a points differential of +5.1 @ home. They just continue to come out with energy at get the jump on teams @ Staples. the 3rd quarters are their worry. San Antonio are not so good starters averaging -1.3 on the road. Also news in is that Bynum has been upgraded to probable is a big plus! The one area that the Spurs can be exposed is their lack of height in the back court. Duncan will have his hands full with Gasol, so that leaves Blair (6ft -7) to cover LA's other two big men Bynum (7ft) and Odom (6ft - 10). Tough ask. This is also a revenge spot for LA as the spurs beat them easily earlier this season. Bryant is one who generally has the last laugh when in these spots. Lakers to get out to a nice 6-7 pt lead early in this one tonight.

I honestly cannot see how Orlando can match up on Wade or James? Horward is a dominate force in the paint as we all know but who do they go to when he sits? Bass is a huge loss for this team. He plays tall and is a force on the boards! He put up 24pts in Orlando's win the last time these two teams met. On top of Bass, Redick is doubtful. He has given the magic valuable output coming off the bench. Orlando enter this game just not quite right. Miami on the other hand are hungry, they are one of the better defensive teams in the league especially of the perimeter, which is where the Magic have dominated games. I see Miami slowing this one down and playing it at their pace. Their is no love lost between these two. Orlando made plenty of comments towards the Heats big three pre season which is in the back of the Miami players mind. King James in particular, look for him to poor on 40! Heat wins this one SU! REVENGE!!!!!! Does anyone else remember Chicago's 1pt loss to the Clippers earlier this year? Derrick Rose has not forgotten I can guarantee you that. Rose missed the last free throw which secured the win for LA. The bulls are on a 5 game winning run and are clicking! Rose is in MVP talks and Boozer is getting back to his 20pt 10reb per game avg. The Bulls boast the 3rd best defense in the league giving up just 92pts per game. I think they will slow the tempo of this one and strangle the clips. They have the size in Boozer, Gibson and Thomas to at Least limit Griffins dominance on the boards. I feel LA are still a little ofF the pace against real contenders. At least while Gordon is out. He is a big loss here. Expect Rose to have fire in his eyes and lead the bulls to victory over the Clippers tonight.

They catch the Wizards playing their 4th game in 5 days and 5th game of a long road trip. Who mind you are still win less away from home this season. Huge Fatigue factor for this young Washington outfit tonight. While New Orleans will be without Okafor, I still think they have enough to win this on SU.

They were in a terrible scheduling spot playing 4th game in 6 days on the road. Their coach has stated they "threw in the towel" and players were rested and are now ready for Utah and focused on finishing this road trip with a win. I see far to much energy with this team with Silas at the helm. They will come out firing! Utah are TERRIBLE starters! enough said. They are on B2B flying home from GS which cannot help. Still missing Williams! big fade on Utah tonight. I think Charlotte can win this one SU but the Jazz do play well in the 2nd half generally and at home may find that extra spark late.
