Welcome all..... I live in Australia and have been punting on Sports for the past 6 years. Looking forward to another sucessful year in 2013...... I enjoyed another sucessful Campaign in 2012 which was my 2nd year posting here. Detailed results can be seen below.

I bet on the AFL , NRL as well as US Basketball, the NBA & NCAA CBB. Here I will post my plays as a record with regular write ups. It is most important that you create a Twitter account and follow me @baywatchbets as all my plays are posted there first then followed up with a detailed post here. Be sure to follow twitter below!!!

FOLLOW TWITTER

I play on ML, ATS, Quarters, Halves, Doubles and occasionally on Player Exotics. My goal is to hit close to 60%. However 53% will give a nice profit.

I bet in units. Though out the seasons I will play x1 unit, x1.5 units, x2 units and on occasions huge x3, x4 & even x5 unit plays! On average x1 unit should be 3.5% of your bankroll so adjust accordingly. This is very important as we are investing not gambling!

So for example your x1 unit may be to win $100, so I bet $110 @ odds of 1.91. Betting at these odds your unit outlay would be:

x1 unit play - $110 to win $100

x1.5 unit play - $165 to win $150

x2 unit play - $220 to win $200 etc.

I adjust the amount I bet according to the odds taken. for example playing x1 unit @ odds of 1.85 I then have to up my bet to $115 to win $100 and so on.

Patience and Bankroll management is the key.

Good luck all and enjoy the ride....

DOUBLE - RABBITOHS +4.5 / TOTAL SCORE UNDER 34.5 (x2.5)

Souths  venture to Penrith for Monday Night Football minus a number of stars. Inglis, Burgess, Asotasi. However on the back of the good form of Sandow I think they can grind out a win in wet cold conditions. Penrith has been ordinary this year but have improved over the last fortnight. Petro and Jennings both backing up. This game really toss of the coin and value with the Bunnies! Penrith give up the most penalties in the league and off the back of that indiscipline Sandow, Luke and Sutton to capitalise. Bunnies for me 10 - 4!

Adding 2ND H - EAGLES +15.5 (x1)

West Coast are one of the hot teams in the comp right now! Coming off a demolition of the Dogs last week they are on fire! This is a huge test, playing Collingwood at the MCG! Are this young group up to the challenge? Most definately! Collngwood got out of jail last week with a last quarter rush! They are seriously missing Jolly and now with Brown still out also are struggling to be competitive in the ruck. Up against the Eagles this is not the area you want to be struggling. Cox and Nic Nat will work young wood over and try to deny the Magpies on ball brigade first use. Another area West Coast have the upper hand is with their tall forwards Lynch, Darling and Kennedy! All three are in good form and will require close attention. Not something the Magpies backs really like doing. Reid and Tarrant yes will do a job but Maxwell or O'Brien will have to man up on the other.

Collingwood at home should have enough to get over the line but I really like the Eagles chances here for reasons stated earlier. I think they can win and am happy have a 5 goal start.

ATS - BULLDOGS +23.5 (x1.5)
2ND H - BULLDOGS +16.5 (x2)
(Game line +48.5)

Brisbane travel to Adelaide in an unusual situation, coming off a win! On the back of the return of J.Brown the Lions notched up their first win of the year against Nth @ the Gabba. While the Crows played some of their best Footy for 3 quarters against the Magpies. Then an avalanche of goals in the last crushed the crows! How will that affect this group who have stuggled for much of the year. Their confidence would be shot! The Lions quite the opposite, getting that first win and have Brown inside the forward 50 will give the young Lions enormous confidence! While the Crows should win at home, I don't think they will have it their own way. lions to give them a scare and keep this one close.

2nd up I like the Bulldogs to respond from one of the worst performances in the clubs history! They were pathetic in the second half last week against the Eagles. They have recalled Lake, Hall and have give Gilbee a reprieve whic is a positive move. Lake and Hall in particular will give them structure and take a little pressure off the younger players who have been trying to fill those rolls. Lake is an interesting one, he has been seriously out of form but insisted he be played today. Given he has a terrific record on Buddy this could prove a master stoke! If anything it may play on the mind of the Hawthorn champ. While I'm not sure the dogs can get the points I expect a huge lift in effort here today! Take the Dogs and the points.

St.George have over half their side backing up from Origin in this match where the Tigers were all at home watching. The Dragons are experienced and should get the win however this is the perfect opportunity for Benji to weave his magic and catch the Dragons napping. They may be off their game there for happy to take the Tigers with the points.

As stated in earlier play am including the Storm giving up a small margin as I feel they are specials to win well also today.

Tough night awaits Gary Ablett and the Suns against his old club in their brand new stadium!

Geelong heads up to the Gold Coast to take on their former champ G.Ablett @ his new home. It is the unveiling of Gold Coasts brand new stadium. But I'm sorry to say that it will be not a happy memory for this new club, much the same as their opening match. Geelong will prove far to strong for the young Suns and G.Ablett can expect a tough night with the likes of Ling, Chapman, Corey, Bartel and Selwood rotating on him as the game plays out. They will be out to give it to their former teammate!

I'm expecting the experienced Cats to take full control of this one early and skip away to a handsome lead at the main break! 50+ points. From there they will wear done the younger Suns and cover the 10 goal plus line. Cats far to good here, will give the Suns a valuable lesson.

DOUBLE - COWBOYS ML / STORM -2.5 (x1)

Nth Queensland have been arguably the most improved side in the comp this year and they have made Townsville one of the hardest places for travelling teams to play at. I expect no different here tonight. Thurston and B.Scott will  back up but JT has an outstanding record following origin and Scott was close to QLD's best on Wednesday, he will carry that form over here. They will be missing Tonga but other than that their side looks solid! The Roosters are on the other end of the scale in 2011. After a fairytale 2010 they are just a shadow of that side. The managed a win last week but that was their first in a long while and it was far from convincing. The Cowboys are well rested after having the bye last week and have won 4 of the past 5. They will get the job done @ home.

Melbourne have a huge number of players backing up, but much the same as JT, players like Slater, Smith and Cronk tend to thrive on it! the Sharks were woeful against the Eels last Monday night and will get Gallen and Snowden back. However a trip down to Melbourne is tough on anyone. This is Cam Smiths 200th and I expect a good showing from the Storm boys in front of their home crowd. Melbourne to win comfortably 13+

ATS - SWANS -1.5 (x1)

Sydney will be without man mountain Mumford for this clash which will hurt, but are lucky to have capable back up in Seaby waiting in the wings. He will grab this opportunity with both hands and I expect a huge performance from the former eagle. North regain a couple of handy ball carriers in Anthony and Greenwood but just how will their fair first game back? North let last weeks game slip up in Brisbane and I think this just proves the point that this young side don't know how to close out games, they haven't learnt how to win!

The Swans have a good record against the Roos winning their past 4 by an average of 5 goals. Goodes has also enjoyed matching up against Nth. Look for him to lead from the front and get the Swans back on track here today. Sydney has won its past 2 here under the roof and have not fared well @ home so perhaps a game on the road is just what the doctor ordered? Sydney to control the tempo of this one and win comfortably. 4-5 goals!

ATS - BLUES -32.5 (x1)

The Blues have been impressive in 2011, Pushing the Magpies and Just going down to the Cats last week in a game the really controlled well, just poor execution and the Experienced Geelong team doing some things a little cleaner but probably should have won. Melbourne this week is a much simplier task. The Demons are very hot and cold, generally cold. They will be without Jamar, Trengrove, Davey, Scully, Tapscott, Garland and Grimes! Enough said! The Blues will take a strong line up in tonight and will be bitter about last week. Expect Carlton to dominate the clearances with Judd leading the way and give their forwards first use. Melbourne will sorely miss Jamar, Trengove and Davey in particular as those are the guys trusted with the ball.

Blues for me easily! 10 goals isn't out of the question. to many holes to fill for a Demons side lacking confidence.

Chicago have their backs against the wall in tonights do or die game 5 against Miami. After winning Game 1 the Bulls then lost the next 3 games to fall 3-1 down in the series. I expect Chicago to throw everything at Miami here tonight and in front of their home fans they will be out to put on a show. The Bulls have stated they must start well and get this crowd involved and I expect them to take a lead after the 1st quarter. Bulls may win SU also.

Boozer has found form in his last 2 games hitting 20 and 26 points. With Rose constantly being doubled he will be looking for both Boozer and Deng to be heavily involved offensively! I took this exact scoring line for Boozer last start and see no reason why he shouldn't make 15+ points here again.

(Buying x1.5 points)

NSW have taken a new approach for this series and they had too after losing the last five in a row. Will it pay off? We will see but I think they have picked a very solid team, focusing on defense. They will be out to hold QLD to a little as possible and then hopefully score themselves. The Maroons are strong as usual but are with out both their first choice centers in Hodges and Inglis. This may be an area of concern. Either way I see the Blues throwing everything at QLD and limiting their scoring. NSW to keep it close and may even win outright.

Bulls are down 1-2 in the series but haven't been dominated in their most recent 2 losses. Yes, they are not shooting the ball well, but this team has been in it late in the 4th quarter and I expect them to give everything tonight. Rose is on the record saying that he's going to be a lot more aggressive and will look for his own shot even against double-teams. Sure it's easier said than done, but Mr. MVP has proven all season long that he's at his best when the team needs him the most. This is a 'do or die' game for Chicago they have not lost 3 in a row all season long. Look for them to be aggressive right from opening tip. Bulls stay close and may even win outright here!

I also like Boozer to get more involved offensively and score over 15!

PLAYER STATS - DURANT TOTAL REBOUNDS - OVER 6.5 (x1)
2ND H - THUNDER -0.5 (x1)

I see the Thunder bouncing back here @ home in what is a must win game 4! This has been the common trend in most playoffs so far this post season, loss one win one. OKC has responded in all games following a loss and I don't expect any different here. Dallas got out to a huge 20+ lead from as early as the 1st Q and held that till late in the 3rd. The Thunder charged home and reduced the margin to 6 several times but couldn't quite get it done. They will be out to deny Dallas such a start. Durant was a non factor in game 3. He did finish with 24 points but wasn't a real threat going 0-7 from the arc. This won't happen twice in a row! Expect a huge game from KD! I expect 35 - 10! have taken his total rebounds over 6.5 as I expect a huge lift in defense and attack on the ball in all areas. Durant shows up tonight and leads the Thunder to a victory! Leveling the series 2-2.

As you know I have OKC in a future bet to meet Miami in the Final so no point taking short odds here in game 4. I will however be watching closely and you can expect a small play if odds are right.

Have taken them to win by just one diverted try and took the safety of buying down to this number but I actually feel the Eels could have a field day! The Sharks are without Gallen, Smith, Snowden, Kelly and Gardiner! All this from a side that struggles to win as it is! Paramatta will be without Reddy, Mannah and Mortimer but fill those holes with Webb, Walker and youngster Morgan! This game is set up perfectly for Hayne to really exploded! I expect him to take on the line and be heavierly involved offensively. The experienced pack of Moi Moi, Webb, Shackleton and Hindmarsh will be far to dominant for the younger weakened Sharks pack missing all their stars.

This is a must win game for the Eels and with a much stronger line up on paper they should win and win well @ home! Eels by 16

First up my major play here is on the Swans to win in a tight one @ the SCG today against the Hawks. Hawthorn are playing good Footy but have lost some crucial personal. Young ruck man Max Bailey will play his first game after 3 knee recos! He will be seriously underdone! And up against one of the form ruck man in the game Mumford will be too much! Sydney play tough contested Footy and will wear down the younger Hawks @ home!

I also like the Eagles to continue their winning ways against a very inconsistent Bulldogs outfit! West Coast have been the big improvers this season and I was impressed by their performance last week in beating Freo convincingly! The Dogs have too many Injury worries with Lake and Hall still out! They get back Higgins and Williams which will help but they will be underdone! The Dogs will be found short against the bigger eagles Cox, Natanui, Lynch, Kennedy and Darling! I am betting on these two sides winning their conference series match ups and play off in the NBA Final! I picked this result along time ago and really should have had a small play on it then. However there is still value with the Thunder and having won game 2 and now have home court advantage they will be hard to stop from here! Ditto with Miami. Both sides have an exceptional record at home and both these series could easily be 3-1 at the end of the next two games. Risking 3 units here to win 7.

Also playing a small x1 unit on a player performance in today's game 3 DAL @ OKC with Westbrook scoring over 23.5. He will step up in the first Conference Final game in front of their home fans. DOUBLE - TIGERS ML / EELS ML (x2)

Both these teams are desperate for a win and I think they both get one this week. The Tigers have so much talent but have been so inconsistent, you just don't know which team will show up? They have been struck down by injuries in the early part of this season which has really hurt them, and are still without Turquri, Lawrence, Gibbs and Ellis. However they still have plenty of match winners and will be looking to bounce back after a terrible performance last week. They face the Panthers who have just had the best 10 days of their season with Gus jumping on board and beating the Broncos! Lewis looked good in his first game back also. However this is a big letdown spot! Lewis second up may struggle, and after all the celebrations of finally getting a win I feel they may be a bit off in this one. With Farar out to prove a point for his origin snub and Benji looking to bounce back I see the tigers getting the points here in this one.

2nd game I'm on the Eels to find some form and get a win also. They face the Sharks minus their leader Gallan and have almost a full squad to pick from. Hayne will explode here tonight! Much the same reasons as Farrar in missing Origin! Add to that the experienced Hindy and playing at home they must win this one!

Fading the Tigers here in the opening quarter against the Bombers. Richmond has not won a first quarter all season! They are slow out of the blocks and then work their way back. This has been a common trend. While Essendon have been 50/50 in this department they have preformed in Melbourne. This is an interesting game as with all of Essendons injuries I actually think Richmond are some chance. If Richmond give up a start early as I am betting on, I may look to play the other way once a decent line or ML is offered. But I hold firm that Essendon to take a lead into quarter time.

Brown has a terrific record against the Roos and also has a good record first game back after a long rest. Both these stats don't look good for North. The Kangas got a much needed win last week beating the inconsistent Demons at Etihad. This trip north will test as they haven't won at the Gabba since 2005! Geelong are Flying! After being written off after last year this team has tweaked it's game style slightly and is on fire! Normally you would suggest a team coming off a huge win like geelong over the Pies would be in line for a letdown. But this Geelong outfit has done all this before. They won't be getting carried away with a big win in May. Carlton have impressed and are looking a likely top 4 team. I still have doubts on their defense and if Judd doesn't fire they do tend to drop off. Carlton will go in to this one having had recent success over the Cats. But those 2 loses were at the MCG, looking through the stats the Geelong has not fair as well at the G as they have at home and at The dome! And this one is at Etihad! Geelong has won all 8 matches between these two sides at the Dome and play under the roof extremely well.

Just going back to the Blues back half, the inclusions for Geelong could prove very smart additions. Taylor Hunt will take one of the Blues quicks down back, Milburn can play small or tall forward or back and the young ruck man on debut Vardy will most definately be pushed forward along with Ottens to really stretch the Blues back half. Jamison and Thorton will be occupied by Pods and Hawkins, who takes the next tall? Then you have S.Johnson, Chapman, Bartel, And Stokes roaming through there.... Headaches are on the cards for the Blues!

Geelong just seem to have the Blues covered in all match ups and as they play this ground as well as the do Skilled Park they have the edge! Will the passing of one of Geelongs favourite sons in Bob Davis play any part? Who knows but Cats to win and cover here tonight. Geelong by 25+

Canberra while coming off a huge upset win against the Storm in Melbourne, will have to field a very inexperienced side and are missing players in vital spots with Duggan missing with origin duties at fullback and Orford, Shillington, Leroy-Lars and of course Campo all out with injury. The dogs surprisingly have almost a full strength side ready to run out tonight with Ennis the only missing. The Dogs have far to much fire power with Barba, Idris, and Morris. Also an inform forward back lead by Tolman and Pritchard to set the standard for the night. Their new halves are gelling well and will carve up Canberra tonight! Miami to bounce back in a big way here tonight in game 2! or more importantly L.James! Lebron was terrible in game one both offensively and defensively! He was out hustled and smashed on the boards by Noah, Deng and Gibson. He is to good a player not to learn from that performance and will bounce back! James was not alone, Wade too was out played and fell away in the second half. I expect these two in particular to come back strong tonight and put up closer to 65 between them. Miami were the best 1st Half side in the regular season and were right in game one up until 3/4 time. This is a huge game for Miami as they will not want to head home for game 3 down 0-2! Chicago were ranked 9th in 1st Halves.

While Miami 1st Half is my strong lean I also feel that Miami must respond here and with James now fit and healthy and Wade looking to respond the value is with the Heat ML @ $2.23! so small wager on Miami to square up the series also here tonight!

Dallas giving up to many points in this one for my liking. This price has been inflated IMO by the way the Mavs handed or dismantled the Lakers in 4! they have had 9 days off! that's an eternity in NBA terms, will this help or hinder? I believe it will help the older players likes of J.Kidd but hinder the momentum and may come out a little rusty tonight. They are up against a young team with two out and out stars of the game in Durant and Westbrook. They are coming off a tough 7 game series against Memphis. I actually feel this will do this young group wonders! Westbrook may not have his way against Kidd so he must distribute! Just as he did in game 7, this is the key, getting Durant more of the ball. Also Perkins and Ibaka must be aggressive and put pressure on Dirk. I don't think they can stop Dirk but they have plenty of players to rotate on to him at any point of the game with Perkins, Ibaka & Collison.

Thunder for me to keep this one close.

ML - TITANS (x1.5)

Rolling with the Gold Coast here in Monday Night Football! More of a gut instinct than anything. The Titans are up against it this season after a terrible start. They are playing well below the standard's we all expect. They are at home and have actually won 3 of the last 4 against Manly. The Titans have received a boost with Bailey back this week and Mino gets back in the starting line up which looks alot better. Also much prefer G.Bird in the Back Row, he adds that go forward and unpredictability that could spark this team. He has great ball playing ability and also takes on the line. He will be up for a big one tonight after being named for the Blues yesterday!

Manly have been dealt a blow with B.Stewart ruled out. While they are in good form the Sea Eagles this game is a huge danger! Travelling up North I think they may find this one tough. The Titans can score plenty of points and I think they steal this one! Titans win outright!

BACK ONLINE!!!!!

We are back online!!!!

Well that was very inconvenient, my site going under repairs over the weekend.... I was able to post all bets on twitter and forum so hope that helped. Just a quick update as none of my AFL or NRL plays were posted. So here's a run down:

AFL: 8-4 +7.85 UNITS!  Huge Weekend!
YTD: 35-24-2 (+19.95u @ 59.3%)

NRL: 2-2 With x1 one Pending... May have play tonight so will update after complete.

NBA :1-1 +0.5u  Since last posted play
YTD: 121-92-1 (+23.7u @ 56.8%)

Multi's have let me down of late. Have been to tempted to play more than one per week once the first fails. Will curb this error and get back on track. While they are attractive and can bring big dividends, they are a trap. Very easy to drop multiple units before one collects. I will revert back to one per week.

So there we go back on track. The NBA is coming to a close with the Thunder advancing to meet Dallas in the West and Chicago already a game up on the Heat in the East. My prediction earlier in the piece was  these two to be where they are and a Miami v Oklahoma Final. While I still think this may eventuate I must admit I not as confident. Dallas has a huge advantage now with the rest they have had and Chicago were convincing in game 1. I did bet on that game however. May look into Miami series prince now? Has been a good year to date +23.7u so far! would love to finish back above 30 as that's where I was before the post season. But all in all very satisfied with the NBA 10-11 season!

The AFL is into full swing now and is always a much easier time to find value and back winners than earlier on. Have managed a profit in the last 7 straight weeks now after my disaster in round 1. and already up close to x20 units!

The same cant be said the NRL..... Still finding it hard to get back the awful first 3 rounds. Slowly but surely :) All in All good year thus far. Plenty more footy right through till October this year! Bring it on!!!!

Miami get this one! James had his worse performance of the playoffs last game. This won't happen two games in a row. The Celtics clearly benifited from the long break between games as they have a team full of 30+ stars. Rondo is injure. Will play by has to be restricted. Miami to take this one and head home 3-1 up to finish the series.

ML - SAINTS (x3)
2ND H - ML - SAINTS (x3)

Do or Die for the Saint here tonight! They are currently sitting on just one win for the season and are currently below the Suns on the ladder. While Carlton are getting plenty of praise for their good start but much of that is all because of C.Judd! Carlton return from a tough slog against the Swans in Sydney and have won just one of the last ten against the Saints. Nit sure how being hot favorites will sit with the Blues? Look the Saints offer plenty of value @ over $3 and if Kosi and Roo can take a few early marks inside forward 50 they could be on their way to a much needed Victory. This is the one area I still feel the Blues can be exposed. Their lack of size in the back half. Jones will put the clamps on Judd and look for big games from Goddard, Montagna and Dal Santo. The Saints are back at the Dome the ground they have had the most success at and play their best Footy! Saints for me to Catch the Blues off guard and get the season back on track!

Adding extra 0.55u @ 6.5 1/2 time bet so my bet will return x6 units

Still like St.Kilda's chances here. Minimal outlay for double return if come through.

ML - LAKERS (x1.5)
SERIES - LAKERS (x7)

Yes thats right I've had a small wager on LA beat all the odds and creating NBA history by winning the series 0-3 down. He's my logic..... I believe LA has seriously under achieved so far this series. Obvious statement. I thought they should have won both games 2 and 3 and again believe they have the ability to flick the switch and turn it on in game 4! Hence my ML bet. So if I believe they will keep the series alive in this game they will then be heavy favourites in game 5 @ home right? Now if this all plays out and yes I relize it's a huge if but roll with me here for a moment.... If they grab game 4 then win @ home in game 5, we then find ourselves with a 2-3 series. Still tough and gotta win away but I believe odds of 8-1 are to good not to have a small nibble at. Especially because I believe we will get to game 6 and then who Knows. Now I'm not saying get on its a sure winner but if u are still thinking this team has more to give and take game 4 and 5 then surely it's worth thought. LA to get that much needed win and keep their dream alive! Happy punting guys.

Both these teams have plenty of players on representative duties however only one has them backing up and playing in this one, Melbourne. Slater, Cronk, Smith will all back up while Lockyer, Thiaday, Hodges, Hannant etc will all rest. That's almost enough for me. The Storm do play well at Suncorp and and have made it public that they want to put in better efforts away. Storm to take care of the baby Broncos in this one.

ATS - SUNS +49.5 (x2)
1ST Q - SUNS (x2)

The first match of this new rivalry, the Q Clash! Not sure bout that name but anyways.... The Suns were belted last week by the Bombers in all areas! They really lack some senior players and more mature bodies. Fortunately for them Brisbane are not much better! They are returning from Melbourne also from a defeat at the hands of the Tigers. Still missing a number of senior players and none bigger than their skipper Brown. The Suns have made six changes for this one but I suspect they will do that almost every week. They get Bock and Krakeour back which is important as they are a few players they have got with experience. I expect Gold Coast to really lift for this one, not sure if they will win but 50 points is to much. Suns to keep this one tight.

I expect them to start well. They would have made the first quarter the main focus this week and amtipping the Suns to enter the quarter time break in front!

Richmond are going for 3 wins in a row! Wow that's unusual.... They do however go up in class for this one. Free are a genuine contender this year and will be aiming for top 4. They are coming off the bye but won their previous 3 so are in good form. This one is played at the MCG which is a ground the Dockers haven't had much success but if they want to advance in September they must! They will see this as a great opportunity for this group to get that win in Melbourne against the Tigers. Freo are a few steps ahead of Richmond right now and that class will come through. Sandilands will dominate the ruck and give his onballers in Pavlich, Mundy, Hill and Fyfe first use. Dockers to win by 4 goals.

Richmond are awful starters and I expect the Dockers to come out fresh after the bye. Freo to lead at the first change also.

Swans look to bounce back from their loss to the Blues in Sydney, while the Bulldogs were blown away in the last term against the Pies. This one is played in Canberra where the Dogs have had some success. They will be without Hall and Lake for this one, both bookends as well as Higgins. The Dogs lack size in this one up against the Swans bigger bodies Mumford, Goodes, Pyke etc. The Swans to strangle the Dogs and win a tight one. Happy with the points here.

DOUBLE - BULLS HT/FT / LAKERS ML (x2)

Well things didn't go as planed for both these teams in the opener of their round 2 matches with both starting off with a loss @ home as favorites. Both these teams are outright favorites in their divisions and while I still think Miami and Oklahoma City will play their part, they are deserving favorites.

Tonight both are on serious revenge! Getting beaten opening game on your home court! Lookout Hawks and MAVS here. Rose has just been officially named MVP for the season and rightly so he has been sensational! But he made it very clear in his conference that it's all about the next game! He did pull up sore after game one but he will be giving everything tonight right from the get go! More will come from Boozer and Deng tonight! And especially from their bench! I wouldn't be surprised to see a double digit lead at the half then they cruise to an easy win tonight!

The Lakers are in much the same boat here in game two @ home. While they did control most of game one the failed to finish. Kobe had two crucial errors in the last two plays. Trying to slip a pass which was cut off and then slipped up when trying to receive the ball on the final play! He will be dirty on himself and I expect a huge effort from Buber 24 tonight! Lamar and Gasol need to contain Dirk and I think they can. But what's more important is LA must go through those guys and Bynum and pressure Dirk on the defensive end! If he picks up early fouls Dallas are in all sorts! LA to come out strong and lead well early.

Both teams lead @ the half well and get their revenge evening up the series 1-1 tonight!

DOUBLE - CELTICS +9.5 / TS UNDER 187.5 (x1.5)

I expect the Celtics to bounce back in this one tonight! Wade was unstoppable last game and the points Miami received from it's bench were enormous! They will do well to get a repeat of that! Also I don't think the Celtics could have gone any worse. Nothing from KG, Nothing from it's bench and Pierce ejected! I also expect both teams to turn it up on the defensive end. While I'm not certain they will win game two, I'm happy to have the points as I expect this one to be close.

1ST Q - LAKERS -1.5 (x1.5)

The Lakers were given a good wake up call in the opening game against the Hornets and that in turn made the series a lot tougher. I don't expect them to let the same thing happen here. The will be out to make a statement in this one here at home! I expect Dallas to mix and match who they play on Kobe tonight, from Marion, Kidd and Stevenson. As a whole they may curb his impact a little but Bryant has the advantage over each of them individually! The bigs match up well. I expect the Lakers to win a tight one here but get out of the blocks early!

DOUBLE : BULLS -3.5 / TS UNDER 183.5 (x2)

Chicago has owned Atlanta in the regular season! Going 2-1 but actually lead by 20+ at halftime in the game they lost? Atlanta matched up extremely well against Orlando and were always in control of that series. This is a much tough task. The Bulls main strike power is in their point guard and current MVP D.Rose! An area the Hawks will struggle to contain especially with the absence of Hinrick. Their is no one on that roster that can go with him! The Bulls on the other hand got through a tough first round against the Pacers. This would have been a wake up call and I expect them to come out strong here at home in the opener of this series.

Chicago has the number 1 ranked defense in the league while Atlanta has the 20th ranked offense..... These number point towards a low total. The Hawks will struggle to put up a score above 80 while the Bulls will base their game around a solid defense. Bulls win well tonight in a low scoring battle.
