I play on ML, ATS, Quarters, Halves, Doubles and occasionally on Player Exotics. My goal is to hit close to 60%. However 53% will give a nice profit.

I bet in units. Though out the seasons I will play x1 unit, x1.5 units, x2 units and on occasions huge x3, x4 & even x5 unit plays! On average x1 unit should be 3.5% of your bankroll so adjust accordingly. This is very important as we are investing not gambling!

So for example your x1 unit may be to win $100, so I bet $110 @ odds of 1.91. Betting at these odds your unit outlay would be:

x1 unit play - $110 to win $100

x1.5 unit play - $165 to win $150

x2 unit play - $220 to win $200 etc.

I adjust the amount I bet according to the odds taken. for example playing x1 unit @ odds of 1.85 I then have to up my bet to $115 to win $100 and so on.

Patience and Bankroll management is the key.

CHEEKY MULTI #1

Last season I played the odd multi through out my year. Generally only 1 every few weeks which I record in its own Multi section of my results. Please note I do not advise betting like this on a regular basis as you are bound to fail. However having said that it can be a good way to give your bank a boost and keep the weekend interesting. I always keep my outlay to a minimum, 0.5 - 1 unit and try for odds of $6 - $12. Also if my first two legs are successful I often look to lay off on the final leg to ensure either way I receive a collect.

With that all said here is my first Cheeky Multi of the year!

Boston Celtics At Chicago Bulls
ATS - BULLS -6.5 (x1.5) WIN

Chicago may or may not have D.Rose back for this huge match but either way I like the Bulls to get back on track against the Celtics. Boston are on B2B games here coming off a tough 1pt loss to the Spurs on their home court. That's a tough match to back up from and now they must travel to Chicago to face a rested Bulls team on the back of 2 losses.

Boston's older legs will struggle tonight to keep up with a highly motivated and very deep Bulls team. Chicago win and cover tonight!

New York Knicks At Orlando Magic
1st Q - MAGIC -0.5 (x1) LOSS
Huge revenge spot here for Orlando tonight hosting the Knicks! New York embarrassed them in their last meeting by close to 40pts! The Magic have had issues internally also and will be keen to put it all to bed and play well in front of their fans here tonight. Anderson will again miss but Neilson and Howard should both play. Orlando have been a terrific starting team, especially at home and with the right motivation should be here again.

I like Orlando to come out and well and lead after the opening quarter!
