Welcome all..... I live in Australia and have been punting on Sports for the past 6 years. Looking forward to another sucessful year in 2013...... I enjoyed another sucessful Campaign in 2012 which was my 2nd year posting here. Detailed results can be seen below.

I bet on the AFL , NRL as well as US Basketball, the NBA & NCAA CBB. Here I will post my plays as a record with regular write ups. It is most important that you create a Twitter account and follow me @baywatchbets as all my plays are posted there first then followed up with a detailed post here. I play on ML, ATS, Quarters, Halves, Doubles and occasionally on Player Exotics. My goal is to hit close to 60%. However 53% will give a nice profit.

I bet in units. Though out the seasons I will play x1 unit, x1.5 units, x2 units and on occasions huge x3, x4 & even x5 unit plays! On average x1 unit should be 3.5% of your bankroll so adjust accordingly. This is very important as we are investing not gambling!

So for example your x1 unit may be to win $100, so I bet $110 @ odds of 1.91. Betting at these odds your unit outlay would be:

x1 unit play - $110 to win $100

x1.5 unit play - $165 to win $150

x2 unit play - $220 to win $200 etc.

I adjust the amount I bet according to the odds taken. for example playing x1 unit @ odds of 1.85 I then have to up my bet to $115 to win $100 and so on.

Patience and Bankroll management is the key.

Good luck all and enjoy the ride....

AFL

ROUND 11 - FRIDAY

Geelong @ Carlton
ATS - CATS -13.5 (x2) LOSS

Carlton look a shadow of the side that was rated as a premiership threat earlier in the year. They are coming off an embarrassing performance over in Adelaide where Port beat them easily! that statement in itself is hard to fathom. Now they must regroup and face Geelong at Etihad....

Carlton has won just 3 of the past 12 against the Cats. There record also suggests their not great under the roof winning just 2 of past 7 and whats worse is against Geelong at Etihad they are 0-9! Now if your not big on stats which by the way those are very one sided in any ones language, the Blues have added Scotland to their injury list which still contains Murphy, Carrazzo, Laidler and Waite. On the flip side Geelong welcomes back Enright, Hawkins, Corey, Wojo and Motlop! Geelong and Stevie Johnson have started to find form and will go into tonights match full of confidence. Something that is eluding the Blues right now

Cats coming off a GWS win at home. The Blues returning from interstate where they were beaten badly. Everything points to the Cats tonight and I think on the fast track cover this line well.

ROUND 15 - FRIDAY

West Tigers @ Melbourne
ATS - TIGERS -6 (x1) LOSS

Pretty simple here, Storm are hit with Smith, Slater and Cronk missing tonight while the Tigers just have to cover Farrar. The Storm have two new faces in the halves with widdop moving to fullback to cover Billy. Wests are in rare form winning 7 straight! Benji is in great form also. He will prove to much to contain and on the flip side the Storm will sorely miss their play makers.

NBA PLAYOFFS

EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS
GAME 6

Miami @ Boston
1st Q - HEAT (x1) WIN

2nd H - CELTICS -4 (x1) LOSS
(Game line Celtics +9)

Much like yesterdays game, Miami are in a do or die situation facing the Celtics in Boston. This crowd will be deafening! Miami know they must get off to a good start and try and eliminate the crowds influence. Will they win the game? I'm not so sure. My gut feeling is come the last quarter the Heat my feel the pressures and the experienced Celtics will get on top.

But for me I like Miami to start well and lead at the first change. Their may be value after this on Boston.

WESTERN CONFERENCE FINAL - GAME 6
San Antonio @ OKC
1st Q - SPURS +1.5 (x1) WIN

Its fair to say the Spurs have been stunned these past 3 games. After putting on a clinic in game 2 and being in complete control of the series up until that point the Thunder have gone Bang! winning the next 3 straight and the latest and most important game 5 in San Antonio!

Tonight is do or die for this Spurs team and they must bring it tonight. Its a tough ask to beat  OKC in their own building and to be honest I'm not sure they will. That crowd is one of the most vocal I have ever seen. When the Thunder get on a roll and they will, they just go nuts! The younger stars on the Thunder side really get a lift from this and I think they  may take this one SU. Will they cover? that's the big question.

Either way I think were in for a cracker tonight and the Spurs know they must get on top early. They must eliminate the home crowds influence and not let the Thunder get on a roll. So in saying that I have stuck with the Spurs 1st Q, this time getting +1.5 start. I played this last game and was looking good until OKC went on a 18-6 run in the last 5min or so. The Spurs must contain this and they know their best chance in this game is to be in front or at least right with them early.

Spurs will take it to OKC tonight in the opening 1st, 2nd and maybe even 3rd quarters but eventually I think the Thunder break away and off the back of the home crowd win.
