Welcome all..... I live in Australia and have been punting on Sports for the past 6 years. Looking forward to another sucessful year in 2013...... I enjoyed another sucessful Campaign in 2012 which was my 2nd year posting here. Detailed results can be seen below.

I bet on the AFL , NRL as well as US Basketball, the NBA & NCAA CBB. Here I will post my plays as a record with regular write ups. It is most important that you create a Twitter account and follow me @baywatchbets as all my plays are posted there first then followed up with a detailed post here. I play on ML, ATS, Quarters, Halves, Doubles and occasionally on Player Exotics. My goal is to hit close to 60%. However 53% will give a nice profit.

I bet in units. Though out the seasons I will play x1 unit, x1.5 units, x2 units and on occasions huge x3, x4 & even x5 unit plays! On average x1 unit should be 3.5% of your bankroll so adjust accordingly. This is very important as we are investing not gambling!

So for example your x1 unit may be to win $100, so I bet $110 @ odds of 1.91. Betting at these odds your unit outlay would be:

x1 unit play - $110 to win $100

x1.5 unit play - $165 to win $150

x2 unit play - $220 to win $200 etc.

I adjust the amount I bet according to the odds taken. for example playing x1 unit @ odds of 1.85 I then have to up my bet to $115 to win $100 and so on.

Patience and Bankroll management is the key.

Good luck all and enjoy the ride....

MAGPIES TO UNVEIL FLAG IN STYLE
It's fair to say I was a little surprised at this line when I first saw it. I had this game at about -34 / -36. I don't know whether Carlton have been given a little to much credit after two wins. But remember these were against Richmond round one which they came from behind to win and last weeks demolition of the Suns. How much can you really take from that game. Collingwood meanwhile have had lttle trouble in their first two matches taking care of both Port and Nth easily. The Magpies will get their skipper back for this one and will play their first game @ the MCG. They are also unveiling their premiership flag.

In the last few encounters between these two sides Collingwood has had little trouble winning the last 3 by plenty. Carlton will get Jamison back from suspension and may also get Bower back from injury. This is a huge plus as their back half will be under extreme pressure this week. While this will help I still don't feel it will have any bearing on the result. Carltons back half looks very inexperienced with Watson (2nd game), Duigan (3rd game) and Laider (3rd game for Blues) all having to contain the collingwood forward line. Collingwood if you can believe have actually gotten stronger! The addition of Tarrant has come at perfect timing with Brown out for the year so they lose nothing their. Then they add wildcard Krakouer to their squad. He add that touch of class around goal and up the ground. After a well published break from the game he looks hungry and looking to make the most of his second chance.

Collingwood quite simply have to much firepower and talent across the board for Carlton to match. The Blues are returning from Brisbane and are up against it here. It's always tough for teams returning from games on the road and I really don't think Carlton has what it takes to match it will to top teams in the league just yet and they don't come any better than Collingwood. The Blues will receive a reality check here and taste their first loss. As the Magpies are exceptional starters and with the line being a lot lower than I expected I may also add a 1st Half bet closer to kick off. But very happy to take the -22.5 point with Collingwood as my biggest bet of the season thus far. Magpies win this one well, 40+!

  1. HUGE WINNER HERE +5UNITS!!!!!!

Collect x2 in 1st half as Pies cover easily leading by 27. Then Big x3 at the line. This one was not as easy as I thought, credit to the Blues they hung around but never really looked like winning. The Magpies in third gear in this one win by 28 and cover!
